DIY-gifts-ropeplanter.jpg
Create a knotted rope planter
This hanging planter is perfect for the green thumb who has run out of windowsills and shelf space. Include a new plant, such as an oxalis, an interesting fern or other houseplant as part of the gift. Include a wee card with hanging instructions.

DIY-gifts-herbaltea.jpg
Make your own herbal tea bags
This craft is super easy if you dried some of your summer herbs. Peppermint or chamomile make delicious herbal teas, but you could also fill tea bags with savoury herbs for soups and stews. A little jar or tin with brewing notes completes the package.

This botanical paper takes recycling to a whole new level. Experiment with colours and textures, and use flattened blooms from your flower press as the icing on the cake!
