A benevolent balcony makeover

Issue 10060001

This article appeared in June 2010 issue

Inviting plant material and a soothing aesthetic refurbish the balcony at Toronto's Ronald McDonald House

Behind the scenes
The beautiful balcony makeover you have seen on the previous pages was done last year so that it could appear in this year's magazine. This spring, our magazine team went back to Ronald McDonald House to replant all the gorgeous window boxes and planters they installed last year. Once again, Loblaws generously donated all the plant material. These photos were taken by art director Josephine Woertman
