Under a setting moon, mixed perennial wildflowers grow shoulder-to-shoulder, providing the density that helps prevent weed invasion.
As seasons pass, some species may reproduce better than others, producing a disproportionate number of new seedlings in the same colour. The palette can be rebalanced by interplanting more of a desired plant, or an entirely new wildflower colour into the mix.
