The Folmer Gardens capture the essence of spring

Muscari and daffodils are a classic spring combination. When they burst into bloom they create a riot of colour and fragrance that’s simply intoxicating. Brian has natural­ized several types of muscari among the daffodil plantings. “Sky blue, white, plum, magenta, yellow,” enthuses Brian. “Whatever the colour, the display is striking.” He also likes to combine a variety of plants with his spring flowering bulbs, including ornamental grasses, perennials, shrubs and even a selection of other bulbs.
