Thanks to its extended bloom period, Incrediball is useful for foundation plantings or as a specimen plant.
Incrediball smooth hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens ‘Abetwo’)
h 1.4, w 1.2 m, Zone 4
It’s similar to the ‘Annabelle’ hydrangea, but Incrediball has four times the flowers on massive corymbs perched on strong, thick stems that won’t flop over. Blooms on new wood; prefers rich, well-drained soil in full sun to part shade; attracts butterflies. Introduced by Spring Meadow Nursery in Michigan.
