Integrated pest management (IPM) is a term used to describe an evolving process where cultural, biological and chemical controls are used to control any outbreak in a commercial greenhouse. Key components of IPM are crop monitoring, cultural control, choosing disease-resistant varieties, biological control (beneficial insects that prey on harmful insects and parasites) and chemical control.
