View from a windmill
Along the edges of the Keukenhof grounds, you get glimpses of acre upon acre of flower bulb fields in full bloom. Waves of colour denote daffodils, hyacinth and tulips. When I get to the windmill, I clamber to the top to get a good view. The windmill was built in 1892 and donated to the Keukenhof in 1957. This is one of the iconic images you picture when you think of Holland.
