Reford Gardens: Modern design meets historic flair

Reford Gardens has expanded well beyond the historic gardens that Elsie created. Each year, the world-renowned International Garden Festival brings in national and international talent to design cutting edge spaces that create a jarringly modern juxtaposition against the traditional gardens. In 2010 when I visited, the theme was “Paradise” and Berlin was the invited city. You can find more info about the festival on the Reford Gardens website.
