Reford Gardens: Modern design meets historic flair

These contemporary gardens can also be very thought-provoking with concepts that extend well beyond actual gardening and landscape design. Every Garden Needs a Shed and a Lawn! was designed by Deborah Nagan of the U.K. Each shed contains an exhibit that challenges the visitor to rethink the concept of what he or she thinks a garden is. From time to time, some of The International Garden Festival's exhibits travel to various gardens and events. Some of these sheds made their way to Canada Blooms this past spring (2011) in Toronto.
