Oftentimes once a project has appeared, it will be added to the permanent installation. Reford Gardens is known for its rare Himalayan blue poppies that bloom between June and the end of July. The project pictured here was created for the first year of the festival and became permanent in 2009. The Blue Stick Garden, designed by Claude Cormier of Claude Cormier Architectes Paysagistes in Quebec, is an homage to these blue beauties as well as to the mixed borders of the Long Walk.
