High atop Iron Mountain, peninsular Florida’s highest point, stands historic Bok Tower Gardens. Located near Lake Wales, about an hour’s drive southwest of Orlando or east of Tampa, the gardens were designed by noted landscape architect, Frederick Law Olmsted and created in 1929 by humanitarian Edward Bok.
