The B&Q Garden
Designed by: Laurie Chetwood and Patrick Collins
Awards: Gold
Nine metres high, the six-storey B&Q Garden featured vegetables spilling over a spectacular vertical wall. It showcased the notion that we should be growing food wherever we can and was designed to show how you can grow food even in a confined space. The design also included biodiverse habitats for pollinators such as bats, birds and bees. Below the structure a field of herbs was alive with pollinating insects.
